MORE ABOUT BRC1/BRC2

IMPORTANT BRC1 & BRC2 INFORMATION

Both of the Basic Rider Course (BRC1) and Advanced Rider Course (BRC2) classes offer a waiver for the road test portion of the DOT licensing requirements.  KDMT offers other courses that are not waiver based.

For the BRC1 & BRC2 courses, upon successful completion, students will:

  1. Be registered at the WISDOT within 3 business days  — enabling the student to waive the road test portion of their class M motorcycle license requirements
  2. Be issued an MSF completion card as proof of passing the course. *

The MSF Card can be used at the DMV as proof of passing the MSF course;  this is helpful if you go to the DMV prior to the 3-business-day notification period, or there is some other delay in the DOT notification timeline.  Also, passing the course may result in insurance premium discounts; discuss with your insurance agent.
